	Maynard Manufacturing Software is designed for small to medium sized firms manufacturing a set catalogue of products. It is an excellent tool for tracking materials costs and requirements, and features multiple reporting levels.

December 2005: Version 5.4 Released

Version 5.40 was released on December 13, 2005. This version is compatible with all versions of PFW - from PFW 5.40 down to PFW 4.6 and also PFD 4.6. All of our program were made compatible with PFW 5.4, plus 11 new programs were added, plus there were 8 other major modifications to existing programs, where new features were added. ERP - Accounting Software Integration

Maynard integrates with accounting software such as Sage PFW (Platinum for Windows (PFW) to form a full ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Solution.

Maynard Manufacturing Suite

This suite features five modules from MSS - BOMP, MRP, BOM Configurator, Shop Floor Control, and Inventory Utilities.

Bill of Materials Processor: BOMP is the anchor of our Manufacturing Suite. It allows you to create BOMs which include material, labor, sub-contracting, overhead, and burden costs. You may create transactions using make to order, and make to stock scenarios. Transactions may also be entered manually. We allow for standard manufacturing transactions (commit, move to WIP, and manufacture) as well as the just in time (backflush) transaction. The user has the ability to modify the planned usage to reflect actual usage.

Materials Requirement Planning: MRP/MPS allows you to use either actual orders, forecasted sales, or both to produce a production plan. This plan is then used to generate the production schedule. You may use the production plan, the production schedule, or the actual scheduled jobs (from Shop Floor) as input to the Material Requirements Plan report. There is an option to generate unposted purchase orders in PFW.
MRP Brochure

BOM Configurator: Allows the user to create a custom BOM by modifying a standard BOM at the time of sales order entry. The custom BOM is only for the specific line item of the order being entered.

Shop Floor Control: Allows the user to schedule when a job is to begin and end. It tracks the progress of the job through the shop floor. Reports allow you to view the status of the jobs, actual versus budget, and employee productivity.

Inventory Utilities: Include a number of inventory related programs that we have found useful over the years, including a Turns report, bar code (input and output) capability, inventory purging and inventory correction programs.
