easyBuy is a business-to-business
e-commerce application that offers vendors a completely configurable and personalized e-commerce solution.

This page gives you some more detailed information about how easyBuy operates. To return to the easyBuy main page Click Here.

Business Rules top

easyBuy is designed to allow the vendor to define how easyBuy operates, according to the vendor's own business rules. Together with Evron's team of implementers, you can define:

Pricing Structure: Define different pricing levels for products according to different customers or customer groups, depending on contracts, customer location, or any other factor the vendor determines.

Catalog Structure: Control the categories and sub-categories which will be used to categorize the product offering.

Selling Process: Decide what browsing and order options to allow the customer.

Order Confirmation Process: Determine whether a customer order will be saved in the system until approved by a supervisor, and who this supervisor will be.

Customer Profile: Control what key information will be saved regarding each customer.

Customer Identification: Determine what information will be required to identify each customer.

Customer Groups: Group customers according to whatever criteria you define, and determine the treatment for each group regarding product offering, pricing, and online advertising.

Reporting top

easyBuy takes advantage of the power of e-commerce by collecting information regarding customer browsing and buying behavior. easyBuy then produces reports that can analyze customers based on region, order volume, or any other parameter within the customer's profile.

easyBuy supports all security systems which are standard in the market, including standards of credit card payment. If so desired, easyBuy can be deployed on the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. Alternatively, easyBuy can function smoothly with any SSL component already in place. One could also interface with SET standards or other security standards accepted in the future.

Credit Card Payment top

easyBuy handles credit card payments through integration with third-party payment servers. The payment server receives the credit card number from the customer on a secure page. It then sends the credit card number together with the order total to the appropriate bank, credit company, or clearing house. The bank/credit company/clearing house confirms or rejects the credit card number and order total, and the payment server sends the confirmation to easyBuy so that the order can be processed.

User Friendly Authentication top

easyBuy can authenticate customers and track their behavior. While customers browse and order, the system collects valuable information regarding their purchasing habits, and helps you customize your offering to each customer's needs.

a. Customer Authentication

Customers are authenticated through a username and password upon entering the site. Once they have been authenticated, they are authorized to access their order history and their personally defined catalogs and re-order templates. The product offering and prices that they see within the site depend on their own identity and the customer group they belong to. Browsing and buying can be tracked and reported.

b. Dynamic Order Technology

The customer's order form remains on the screen while the customer browses and selects items to add to the order or to edit within the order. This allows customers to constantly see and easily update their orders.

c. Personalized Customer Options

The customer can create and modify their own personal catalog by choosing products from the total offering and adding them to a new catalog named by them. The personal catalog allows the customer to simplify the purchasing experience, and to personalize the vendor's offering.

Orders can be saved as "reorder forms" and then be accessed on any future visit to the site. As soon as a reorder form is chosen, a new order is opened which contains the same items, in the same quantities as in the order template. Items can then be changed, added or removed as the customer desires, without affecting the original template.

The customer can specify shipping and payment preferences for each order, or the vendor can specify them in advance for each customer or customer group.

d. Browsing Options

The business customer wants to find products easily and quickly so easyBuy contains numerous browsing options. Customers can easily search for what they need and will spend the minimum amount of time in the search effort.

e. Previous Order Information

Your customer can see their order history. In addition they can see all products and quantities included in the order, including category subtotals.

easyBuy also allows the customer to see order statistics by specifying a time frame for orders to be analyzed. easyBuy then displays a total of all orders made by the customer within the specified time period, including subtotals for each product and product category.
